New Classes and Retreats!
It's In-person and on Zoom, and recorded for you to use for 3 days. A gentle, but thorough, yoga class, in a slow-paced, caring atmosphere of acceptance. Strengthen, align, relax, breathe, develop body awareness. Appropriate for students recovering from injuries or chronic pain. Adaptations of poses are suggested and encouraged where needed.

This class is gentle yet strengthening; energetic yet soul-quieting. Using traditional yoga postures as well as various props, we address postural alignment, core strength, and flexibility. With your input, I'll help you work on any places in the body that need attention! Class is recorded and you automatically receive the recording, which is good for 5 days.

Combine an understanding of anatomy, alignment and the breath to develop core awareness and strength. Bringing this awareness into your yoga postures allows one to experience the wisdom of the body on many levels.

Hatha Yoga is the practice of performing the asanas (poses) of yoga mindfully, as well as attention to the breath (pranayama). We practice a full range of asanas, from standing, sitting, inverted, and supine, for the highest benefit to all the organs of the body.

Learn safe and fun ways to use a stability ball (gymnastic ball) for gaining freedom and strength in the body. A great way to keep your home practice fresh and fun, as you build core awareness and ease. Strengthen core, back, arms, balance and have fun doing it! Basic moves, poses, and safety will be taught and reviewed, with modifications given for additional challenge.

In-person only
Safely stretch your spine and strengthen all the supporting muscles. Gain tools to help you reclain and maintain a pain-free back in this therapeutic yoga class. Some issues that will be addressed are scoliosis, lumbar pain, upper back pain and tight hamstrings, which can be a cause of back pain. (if back pain is severe or if sponydlosis or stenosis is present, permission from a doctor is advised.
